Visitation: Friends may call on Monday, April 27 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, April 28 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home located at 13805 Main Road in Mattituck.

Services: Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, April 19 starting at 9:30 a.m. at Grace Episcopal Church in Riverhead. Interment will follow at the Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury.

Obituary: George P. Chimenti, of Aquebogue, died on Friday, April 24. He was 91. He was a retired inspector NCPD. He is survived by his wife Karen; and his children Jack, Catherine, George P. Jr., Christopher, Janice and Gina. Memorial donations to the Michael J. Fox Foundation would be appreciated.
