Pink Pearl Raffle Raises Funds for Stage IV Breast Cancer

Two years ago, the North Fork Breast Health Coalition began a new tradition. Taking health concerns into consideration, the coalition cancelled the annual Pink Pearl Gala fundraiser at East Wind and held a socially distanced Pink Pearl Raffle of gifts and gift baskets at the organization’s office, 185 Old Country Road, Riverhead, over several days.

This year, dozens of gift baskets may again be previewed, and raffle tickets purchased before the gala at the NFBHC office from April 28-30 as well as during the Pink Pearl Gala at East Wind Long Island on May 5. Donated by businesses in the community, this year’s prizes include a bicycle, a wheelbarrow of booze, local wines, a foodie tour, a pet lover’s basket, home décor; plus gift certificates from spas, hair salons and golf courses.

The times for the raffle presale at the office are Friday, April 28, 4:00-8:00 PM; Saturday, April 29, 10:00 AM-4:00 PM; and Sunday, April 30, 10:00 AM-2:00 PM. Tickets prices are 10 tickets for $10 and 30 tickets for $25. Grand prize tickets are $25 each and 5 tickets for $100.

Individuals who cannot attend the gala can still participate in the raffle, which benefits the Keri Lynn Stromski Stage IV Breast Cancer Research and Support Fund. Tickets for the raffle or the gala ($125/$95 for survivors) can also be purchased by credit card through www.northforkbreasthealth.org.
