Public's Help Sought To Find Designer Sunglass-Swiping Pair: Police

RIVERHEAD, NY — The search is on for two people who swiped four pairs of pricey sunglasses from Tanger in Riverhead in recent months, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Police Department detectives said they are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the man and woman who stole two pairs of Prada sunglasses and two pairs of Versace sunglasses from Sunglass Hut, located at 1770 West Main St., Suite 503, on April 20 at about 1:30 p.m. The merchandise was valued at about $1,500, police said.

The pair fled on foot, police said.
