Southampton Town to Host Flanders Community Garden Planting Day
The event will take place on Saturday.
Southampton Town Councilwoman Christine P. Scalera and members of the community will be hosting the annual planting day for the Flanders Community Garden at the David Crohan Community Center this Saturday.
The event will be in honor of National Public Gardens Day and in coordination with a series of events held at Bridge Gardens, The Madoo Conservancy and LongHouse Reserve,
Community members will begin planting their seeds at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday May 9 at the Center located at 655 Flanders Road in Flanders.

All are welcome to attend.
The plantings will include an assortment of vegetables, herbs, and flowers.

The garden is collaboration with the Family Health and Wellness Program area of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County with funding from the New York State Department of Health.
