Volunteer for Horseshoe Crab Monitoring Hampton Bays

Peconic Estuary Program is partnering with Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program to monitor horseshoe crabs in the Peconic

Join Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program and PEP for an evening of citizen science monitoring and tagging Horseshoe Crabs as they come to shore to spawn. Middle School and High School students also welcome!

Your help is crucial to acquiring biological information on horseshoe crabs that will be used by the NYSDEC to assess the status of populations and assist with the regional management and conservation of this species.
