1. Good Samaritans rescue 56-year-old woman from burning vehicle on LIE. The woman's vehicle struck the median, overturned on its side, and caught fire just after noon Monday near Exit 62 in Holtsville, police said. Onlookers flipped the car right side up and removed the woman, who was being burned, and brought her over to the right shoulder. She was airlifted to Stony Brook Hospital and listed in critical condition. (Sachem Patch)
