  2. Police release info on Selden hit-and-run. Suffolk Police released a screen grab from the hit-and-run on Jan. 4 that left an E-bike rider in critical condition. They are looking for a 2021 model or newer Toyota Camry that sped away after hitting the rider. The E-bike rider is still hospitalized, and police are asking anyone with information to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-221-TIPS. (Sachem Patch)
  3. Brookhaven Town Board unanimously approves 2.5% pay increase for blue-collar unit. The 12-year pay period is retroactive to January 2020 and the contract makes Juneteenth a paid holiday and increases health care premiums for employees, according to Newsday.(Sachem Patch)
