  3. Amityville woman arrested for reporting false bomb threat at Smith Haven Mall. Tasia Morales, 28, sent a text message to 911 claiming there was a bomb inside the mall at 4:06 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. Fourth Precinct officers to responded to the mall and a few minutes later, she sent another text, telling police that a woman had a gun in the mall, police said. Police searched the mall and found no immediate threat and Morales, an employee of one of the mall stores, was arrested and charged with first-degree falsely reporting an incident. (Patch)
