July 4, 2022: Fireworks, Events In Portland Area

PORTLAND, OR — Oregon residents are getting ready to celebrate July 4 after two years of event cancelations and modifications.

Residents in cities and counties across the country are looking forward to many of the traditional Independence Day activities that mark the summer holiday.

July 4 is just a few days away, so there’s still time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

We have fireworks shows happening in the Portland area so you can start planning now:

Waterfront Blues Festival

• Where: Tom McCall Waterfront Park
• When: The festival runs from July 1 through July 4. It ends with fireworks around 10 p.m. the night of the 4th that can be seen from different areas around the region.

Hillsboro Rotary 4th of July Parade

• Where: Downtown Hillsboro starting at Jackson School Road.
• When: July 4. Parade kicks off at 10 a.m.

Lake Oswego 4th of July Fireworks

• Where: West end of the Main Lake.
• When: July 4, starting around 9:45 p.m.

Villebois 4th of July

• Where: Sofia Park, 28836 S.W. Costa Circle West.
• When: July 4 starting at 11 a.m.

4th of July Laser Show

• Where: Town Center Park, Wilsonville
• When: July 4, starting at 9 p.m.

The People's Market at Rockwood

• Where: Rockwood Market Hall
• When: July 3. 1:00 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Gresham Farmers' Market

• Where: Arts Plaza, 401 N.E. Second St.
• When: July 2. 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
