  1. The Clark County Medical Examiner has identified the 19-year-old motorcycle rider from Portland who died in a crash in Brush Prairie last month. Mark Osintsev collided with a Volkswagen on Northeast 172nd Avenue at 9:30 p.m. on Jun. 1. The medical examiner has determined Osintsev's death to be an accident. (KATU)
  2. A man allegedly opened fire on his neighbor while paramedics were attempting to respond to a 911 call for medical help on Friday. The incident unfolded on Southeast 157th Avenue in Portland after a call came in, abruptly disconnected, and then called back requesting medical assistance. The situation escalated when the neighbor left his apartment, prompting the shooter to fire at him before ultimately surrendering to the authorities. (KOIN.com)
  3. Portland's new daytime camping ban went into effect on Friday at 8:00 a.m., prohibiting camping in public areas between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. The ban specifically targets camping near parks, schools, construction zones, and other designated areas, with penalties including a $100 fine or 30 days in jail for repeat offenders. However, Portland police have stated that enforcement will be delayed as they prioritize educating individuals about the new regulations. (KOIN.com)
