EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA —Are you ready for Halloween? Or how about the November general election?

Both holidays were in the news this week with Spirit Halloween opening its store in Abington Township while a Hatboro bakery has announced its first tally in the cookie sales battle between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.

Tonelli's Transforming Into Animal Hospital

While Tonelli's Pizza Pub has closed in Horsham after 30 years, its property on Easton Road will be put to good use down the road, its former owner said in a Facebook post. Tonelli's said that in the next six months, Hatboro and Horsham will have a brand new state-of-the-art animal hospital at the Route 611 property. (Read More On Patch)

While Vice President Kamala Harris has quadrupled the political cookie sales of President Joseph Biden in her first showing, she got clobbered by former President Donald Trump. Lochel's Bakery in Hatboro, which has sold its popular political cookies since 2012, recently rolled out "blue" cookies for Harris now that she is on top of the Democratic ticket. 2 Industrial Buildings On Market For $1.6M In Cheltenham Twp.

Two industrial buildings on West Glenside Avenue are up for sale for $1.6 million in Cheltenham Township, a real estate agency reported. The two industrial properties at 363-369 W. Glenside Ave. occupy 10,000 square feet with one building tenant occupied. There are also three bays in the other building, LoopNet stated in its website listing. (Read More On Patch)
