Here’s Why Ben Was Shouted Out As A Doylestown Star Student

We all know students who excel in academic, fine arts or volunteer service. Here's one local resident who is having an impact in Doylestown.

(Ben)

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

This submission comes from Jay who nominated his step-son, Ben, of Doylestown.

I’m his step-dad

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

Ben started his own business at 12 as a balloon twister for kids parties to make money for college. Still in business five years later, he has been nominated for a Best in Bucks Award (Bucks Happening) for Best Kids Entertainer. Also, he is a member of the National Honor Society and achieved entry into the biotech program in Doylestown. He spends a part of his school day at the biotech center studying chemistry and interning with companies there

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

He’s just a sweet kid who is driven to succeed. He’s always smiling and always happy to see folks. I couldn’t ask for a better son.

Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Ben!
