Local businesses are the heart of our communities. Patch had a chance to talk with Steven Trepper, Owner/Operator, of Clean Can Crew.

Patch: Tell us a bit about your business or organization:
Steven Trepper: Clean Can Crew We clean residential trash cans. Our state of the art truck uses 200 degree water and 3000 psi to get trash cans sparkling clean. All the dirty water is reclaimed into our tanks and disposed of properly. We are environmentally friendly and do not use chemicals to clean. We leave no mess behind. We clean your trash cans so you don't have to. We also service commercial locations and can clean dumpsters as well.

Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?
Steven Trepper: We started October 2022 with a soft launch and started full time March 2023.

Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?
Steven Trepper: I Two years ago I had maggots in my trash cans and trying to clean them was an awful experience. I used bleach and it ruined my clothes. When I sprayed inside the can, it all shot back on my face. Then I had nowhere to dump all the nasty stuff that was on the inside of the can. It was not fun! I began to search better ways to clean trash cans and there was nothing local. I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit and thought it would be a great idea to bring this service to the community.

Patch: What's the most common piece of advice you give to customers?
Steven Trepper: You will not believe how clean our truck gets your trash cans. Most trash cans come out looking brand new. A trash can holds 10,000 times more germs than a toilet. Even if you don't see dirt, the germs are there. Our high temperature, high pressure cleaning kills 99.9% of germs and bacteria.

Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Steven Trepper: Seeing the smiles on my customers faces when they do not have to smell a stinky trash can again.

Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?
Steven Trepper: There is no other company in our area that uses the State-of-the-Art truck that we use. Our friendliness and dedication to great customer service.
