Ben Hartranft's Ellen Show Appearance [VIDEO]

Watch the moment the mayor of North Penn discovered Ellen was donating $10,000 to Eagles Autism Charities.

BURBANK, CA — A Lansdale man experienced a bit of Hollywood magic during a recent appearance on The Ellen Show.

Ben Hartranft, the beloved "mayor of North Penn" and autism advocate, was invited to come out to Los Angeles recently. He was told it was to help film a clip for EllenTube, The Ellen Show's online counterpart. He didn't know he was actually meeting Ellen herself.

Not only did Hartranft, who is on the autism spectrum, get to meet Ellen, but she also donated $10,000 to Eagles Autism Charities.

Ben Hartranft has been a part of some unique experiences over the past few years. He was named the North Penn Homecoming King in 2017. He became an ambassador for the Eagles Autism Challenge. He carried the Vince Lombardi Trophy into the Eagles Super Bowl ring ceremony and had a chance to speak with all of the players. And even got to spend a day with Jason Kelce at Dorney Park.
