The campaign organizers are hoping the funds can support funeral costs and comfort the family in the wake of Paul's passing. "It is in these times of loss and sadness when you see people coming together to help one another make it through, to support the people we care for," wrote Kira Greene, the fundraiser's organizer.

Paul was married to his wife Rachael, and they had two children together. He was also cared for Rachael's other two daughters, whom he "fathered like his own," the GoFundMe states.

"Paulie's heart was not only big enough for his family, it was big enough to care, love and spread kindness wherever he went," Lansdale Electric Superintendent Andy Krauss wrote in a remembrance on Facebook. "It didn't take long for Paul to raise the mood of any room or any group. His sense of humor and his wit were unparalleled. Paul was easy to love and would always embrace that love and give it back ten-fold."

Viewings will be held for friends at Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 31 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
