Watch the 145th running of the Kentucky Derby with Ivy Hill

This will be a chance to be noticed, dress to the nines and bring those fabulous hats out of storage while strolling around beautiful Stony Knoll Farm in Skippack!

There will music, food (catered by Clean Plate), and a silent auction including items such as, Best of Bucks County, Summer Fire Pit with S’mores fixings, Box Seats at Devon, and other great offerings. If that’s not enough, where else can you see Pony Plop Bingo? Each contestant will be in the running for a $1,000 payoff!

Proceeds from this event will go to support Ivy Hill Therapeutic Equestrian Center whose mission is to create therapeutic programs for individuals with cognitive, physical, emotional, behavioral and psychological needs utilizing the equine experience.

Ivy Hill offers equine therapy and activities, as well as, collaborative community and school programs that support their mission while serving residents of Bucks, Montgomery, Lehigh, and Philadelphia counties. Program participants range from young children to adults who suffer from exclusion and may have multiple modalities including neurological/physical impairments, Autism spectrum disorders, learning/developmental disabilities, sensory/language impairment, and mental health disorders.

Ivy Hill is committed to utilizing our facility to help create positive change for our community through collaboration with our community partners. In 2018, Ivy Hill served 312 clients, provided 5,495 equine-assisted therapy sessions, provided 24 low-income riders with over $26,000 of financial assistance. Ivy Hill also serves as a host organization for several local school districts, The Bucks County Intermediate Unit, and two community programs partnering with Penn Foundation to provide transitional employment and job skills training for adults recovering from addiction.

This year marks the twentieth year that Ivy Hill has been creating hope and positive change for populations that are often overlooked or excluded. Ivy Hill Foundation, Inc. is a community-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) located in Perkasie, Pennsylvania.
