Car Fire Delays Traffic On Route 1

Several Lower Bucks fire companies responded to the fire on the highway Friday morning.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Fire officials said a car fire caused havoc for Route 1 Friday morningdrivers.

The Falls Township Fire Department's Rescue 30 duty crew members assisted Middletown Fire & Emergency Services Engine 244 and Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company with the car that was fully engulfed on the Route 1 Superhighway.

Rescue 30 arrived and assisted E244’s crew with suppression efforts.
