Fire Leaves Levittown Home Heavily Damaged

The incident took place on Pleasant Lane and left the house "uninhabitable", according to the Falls Township Fire Marshal.

LEVITTOWN, PA — A house fire in Levittown left a house "uninhabitable" on Tuesday evening, and the local fire marshal's office is currently looking for the cause.

"At 5:25 in the evening, our station was dispatched for a first due reported house fire in the pinewood section of the township," Levittown Fire Company #1 said in a statement on Facebook.

A large amount of fire and smoke was reportedly coming from the front bedroom of the house.

After arriving, the fire company's Engine 32-1 established a water supply and pulled an attack line to the interior of the home.

According to Levittown Fire Company #2, the flames were doused within 30 minutes of firefighters arriving at the scene.

"Upon arrival, crews found heavy fire coming from the front, right bedroom, extending throughout the home," the Falls Township Fire Marshal said in a statement. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

Members of the Fairless Hills Fire Department - Station 31, Edgely Fire Company (Ten House), and Tullytown Fire Company Station 33 assisted the local fire companies in the fire.

The Falls Township Fire Marshall is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
