DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — The snow that hit the Philly region Sunday, March 3 and Monday, March 4 wasn't as brutal as forecasters predicted. So how much snow fell in Delaware County?

  • Thornbury Township — 2.8 inches, 11:20 p.m., March 3 (trained spotter)
  • Newtown Square 2.2 inches, 10 p.m., March 3 (public)
  • Thornton — 1.8 inches, 7:09 p.m., March 3 (trained spotter)
  • Villanova — 1 inch, 6 p.m., March 3 (trained spotter)
  • Ridley Park — 1 inch, 7:25 p.m., March 3 (public)
  • Drexel Hill — 1 inch 8:38 p.m. March 3 (trained spotter)

The highest total in Pennsylvania according to the NWS was in Spring Township, Berks County.

A trained spotter recorded 7.7 inches in Spring Township.

The lowest amount of snow was recorded in Feasterville-Trevose, Bucks County, by a trained spotter who recorded .8 inches.
