Water Main Work Closing Middletown Road Through Early May: PennDOT

PennDOT said weekday water main replacement work on a Middletown road will last from late March through early May, forcing a road closure.

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Aqua Pennsylvania work will impact weekday travel on a Middletown Township road through early May, according to PennDOT.

PennDOT said water main construction work will force closures on Elwyn Roads from Monday, March 27 through Friday, May 5.

Work will be done between Baltimore Pike and New Middletown Road/Route 352.

Aqua PA crews will work weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

While Elwyn Road is close, drivers will be detoured to Baltimore Pike and New Middletown Road.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
