NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — “One step closer” to opening day is what the soon-to-be-open Blue Point Grill is reporting on Facebook.

The Princeton-based seafood eatery is scheduled to open in August at the former Corner Bakery Cafe on West Road at the Newtown Shopping Center and local seafood fans are counting down the days.

“We’re really excited to be in Newtown,” said owner Jack Morrison, who also operates a BPG restaurant in Princeton along with the Witherspoon Grill, Kristine’s, and Nassau Street Seafood & Produce Co.
