Council Rock Offering COVID-19 Vaccine For Students 16 And Older

The Council Rock School District is working with Village Shires Pharmacy to offer the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to students 16 and older.

NEWTOWN, PA — The Council Rock School District is working with a local pharmacy to offer the COVID-19 vaccine to eligible students.

Village Shires Pharmacy in Holland is making doses of the Pfizer vaccine available to students aged 16 and older, the district announced Monday.

Appointments will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Council Rock High School South. Eligible students will need to be available for a second vaccination dose on Saturday, May 22, the district said.

Parents will need to sign granting permission on the appointment scheduling website for anyone under the age of 18.
