Newtown Theatre Presents Illuminated Classical Christmas Concert

NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The historic Newtown Theatre will present its third annual “Illuminated Classical Christmas Concert” on Tuesday, December 12 at 8 p.m. This one-of-a-kind concert will be illuminated by hundreds of elegant white lights and feature string musicians from the Newtown Chamber Orchestra.

The concert will include well-known classical works such as "Overture to Messiah," "Canon in D," and "Fantasia in Greensleeves" as well as some holiday songs of a more popular nature such as "Let the Bells Ring," "Traditions of Christmas," "Faeries (Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies)," and "Joy to the World."

The night will also include a special-guest narration of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas with orchestra accompaniment.

Tickets are available at TheNewtownTheatre.com for $37 per person or $32 for theatre members. Any remaining tickets will be sold for $47 at the door on the night of the show (if available). All seating is general admission.

Beer, wine, and canned cocktails will be available for purchase at the theatre before and during the show. The theatre is located at 120 N. State Street in Newtown Borough.
