Pothole Repairs Scheduled On 3 Newtown Area Roadways

Motorists can expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. All activities are weather-dependent.

NEWTOWN, PA — Beginning on Monday, April 1, PennDOT maintenance and contractor crews will be repairing deteriorated pavement on more than 55 state highways this week across the Philadelphia region, including the following roads in the Newtown area.

  • Route 32 (River Road), New Hope and Upper Makefield.
  • Route 232 (Windy Bush Road), Upper Makefield.
  • Eagle Road in Newtown Township.

Motorists can expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. All activities are weather-dependent.

PennDOT would also like to remind motorists that potholes and other roadway concerns on state roads can be reported by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting www.penndot.pa.gov and clicking on “Submit Concern”.

Since January 1, PennDOT has used more than 1,860 tons of asphalt to repair potholes across the five-county Philadelphia region.
