UPDATE: Tree Removed From Route 413; Roadway Reopens In Newtown

A portion of Route 413 between Stoopville and Twining Bridge roads was closed overnight and much of the day for a fallen tree.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Route 413 (Durham Road) was closed overnight and much of today for a downed tree laying across wires.

The roadway was blocked between Stoopville and Twining Bridge roads in Newtown Township, forcing motorists to detour onto Twining Bridge Road and onto Stoopville Road.

PECO crews arrived at the scene this afternoon and quickly cleared the tree from the wires.
