Teens are invited to chat in a fun, informal atmosphere about teen life as part of our Julia's Joy Teen Empowerment Program. Teens are so stressed these days with school, the pressure to be perfect, sports and other responsibilities. We have created a safe group where they can come relax, learn they are not alone, meet new friends and learn Stress Management tips. Each week will have a different discussion topic led by young adult, Jonathan Acevedo-Ali who chooses a topic which is relevant to teens today. This group is for ages 14-17. 
This group meets every Wednesday unless otherwise noted.

Phoenixville, PA – Renowned artist Harriet Hill's solo exhibition, "Flourishing," will be up&nbsp; at Art Work Gallery throughout the month of August, with regular open hours Fridays 5:30-8:30 and Saturdays 2:30-4:30 and private showings.
This Friday night and Saturday afternoon open hours feature&nbsp;the mystery of gouache: how to pronounce it, watch Harriet use it, and give it a whirl yourself!&nbsp;Fri, 5:30-8:30 Sat, 2:30-4:30

Harriet Hill’s art, a unique fusion of her Dutch heritage and Africa's vibrant colors, brings joy to those who experience it. For over twenty years, she has worked globally with survivors of war and violence, using the power of art to unblock emotions and facilitate healing. She now advocates creativity as a tool to enhance personal flourishing. 
The show features Harriet’s Hill’s unapologetically bold and bright maximalist décor, characterized by thick layers of paint in non-representational and abstract geometric designs. Her work, rooted in the Dutch tradition of honesty and directness, is a testament to the themes of hope, flourishing, and laughter.
Harriet Hill paints with oil and gouache, creating pieces that invite viewers to flourish together. Take advantage of this opportunity to experience her extraordinary work.

You will activate and apply light pressure to a series of marma points, one of Ayurveda’s most powerful tools for relaxation, healing, detoxification and mental clarity. The waves of healing vibrations support a steady stream of prana released along the marma lines.
 No meditation experience is required. 
Dress comfortably to recline on the floor or to sit in a chair. 
You will need: Yoga mat and maybe a pillow to make you more comfortable to recline.
