Our UNSUNG HERO AWARD for June 2024!
Meet Janelle.If you volunteer at the Ann's Heart Kitchen, you probably recognize Janelle from the picture with the mask and hairnet, since she is always helping out at the Heart Kitchen. But if you are not paying attention, you may miss seeing Janelle-without-the-kitchen-garb being an incredibly engaged volunteer throughout Phoenixville.
For instance, from the Heart Kitchen, walk north to Bridge Street. There's a good chance you will see Janelle volunteering at Orion. If she's not there, go south to Nutt Road because she is often at the Phoenixville hospital helping out. If you don't see Janelle at the hospital, head right on back to Ann's Heart on Hall street. Why? Because when she's not at Orion or the Phoenixville hospital or in the Heart Kitchen, she is probably somewhere else on the Ann's Heart campus, happily doing whatever they need help with that day.
Tired from trying to keep up with Janelle's volunteer schedule? Well, catch your breath, there's more. Janelle is an amazing baker. In her spare time (haha), she shares her love of baking and cooking to help the less fortunate.
So, we (PressurePerfect Massage) are awarding this month's Unsung Hero Award (complimentary massage) to Janelle Mehan, a tireless and devoted volunteer who makes Phoenixville a better place for everybody.
