Pittsburgh Winter Weather Advisory Issued

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Pittsburgh area. Find out here how much snow is expected.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Pittsburgh metro area from 7 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday.

Three to four inches of snow are expected, with greater accumulations possible east and south of the city. Less significant accumulations are anticipated north of the city.

The weather service warns that roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.
