Cyclist Killed In Roxborough After Being Hit By 2 Vehicles: Report

A 64-year-old man died after being struck two vehicles Wednesday evening on Henry Avenue in Roxborough, according to a news report.

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — A cyclist died after being struck by a vehicle in Roxborough early Wednesday evening.

According to NBC10, a 64-year-old man riding a bike was struck by a vehicle at about 6:51 p.m. on the 7500 block of Henry Avenue.

The outlet reports he was first struck by a black Chrysler driven by a 20-year-old woman, knocking him off the bike, then struck again by a Toyota driven by a 47-year-old woman going the other direction.

He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.

The striking drivers remained on scene and police are investigating the crash.
