513 Customers In Chester County Still Without Power: PECO

PECO has been working around the clock to restore power after Monday night's storm.

CHESTER COUNTY, PA —Three days after a severe storm passed through Chester County, a total of 513 Chester County customers were still without power at 3:45 p.m. today.

On Monday, more than 139,000 PECO customers lost power, including over 10,000 in Chester County.

Brian Ahrens, PECO spokesman, said contractors from outside utility companies are helping with the restoration.

The Chester County municipalities include Downingtown, Caln, East Brandywine, Easttown, Kennett, New Garden, Pennsbury, and Pocopson.

There are 326 customers without power in Delaware County and 124 in Montgomery County.

PECO begins restoring power to the high-voltage transmission lines that affect the largest number of customers.

The utility company then goes to critical public safety facilities like hospitals and police stations.
Next is high-density housing, followed by smaller neighborhoods
