Bridge Work To Impact US 422, North Gulph Road In Tredyffrin: PennDOT

Overhead bridge work is scheduled as part of a project to widen and improve the Turnpike and its bridges between mileposts 324-326.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Bridge work on U.S. 422 and North Gulph Road in Tredyffrin and Upper Merion townships will force lane closures soon, PennDOT said.

Overhead bridge work is scheduled on U.S. 422 and North Gulph Road under the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission’s project to widen and improve the Turnpike and its bridges between mileposts 324-326.

Below are travel restrictions related to the work:

  • Monday, Feb. 19, through Saturday, Feb. 24, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a single lane closure will be in place on eastbound U.S 422 between 1st Avenue and U.S. 202.
  • Monday, Feb. 19, through Saturday, Feb. 24, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, a single lane closure will be in place on westbound U.S 422 between U.S. 202 and 1st Avenue.
  • From 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 19, to 6 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, a single lane closure will be in place in both directions on N. Gulph Road between 1st Avenue and U.S. 202. Traffic paces will also be scheduled each night from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.

Drivers should use caution and be prepared for slow or stopped traffic approaching the work areas.
