Conestoga Crew Club Wins 6 Medals At Stotesbury Cup Regatta

There were 189 Clubs registered with 951 boats and 5,495 athletes in the two-day regatta. And Conestoga Crew earned three gold medals.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Conestoga Crew Club's scullers had a good showing over the weekend at the Stotesbury Cup Regatta, as half a dozen boat teams medaled when all was said and done.

The school had 12 entries and 26 athletes competing. Only four schools had one to three entries more than the club. Ten boats made semi finals, seven of which made finals and six of which medaled.

  • Gold
    • Girls's Lightweight 2X — Maggie Gosnear & Annie Dudrear.
    • Boy's Varsity 2X — Shane Connell & Cole Fogarty.
    • Boys Varsity 4X — Brenton Molsbergen, Max Harmon, Andrew McLellan, Kale Wiley.
  • Silver
    • Girls's Varsity 4X— Natalia Bertolotti, Blair Kennedy, Victoria Budike, & Abigail Lewis.
    • Boy's JV 4X: — Zack Miles, Denis Corr, Kosta Markovic, Kevin Connell.
  • Bronze
    • Girl's JV 4X — Savanna Jacovini, Ella Ottensman, Lily Bielinski, and Annie Stuber.

The Stotesbury Cup Regatta is the largest high school rowing event in the world.

Schools competing were from 10 states — Pennsylvania, New Jerset, Delaeware, Maryland, New York, Virginia, Massachusetts, Oklahoma, Florida, Texas, and Washington DC — and Eastern Canada.
