Home Invasion Robbery Investigation In Easttown Underway: Police

Police are investigating a Jan. 8 robbery on South Leopard Road in the Berwyn section of Easttown Township.

EASTTOWN, PA —Easttown Township investigators and Chester County detectives, with assistance from the FBI, are investigating a Jan 8 home invasion robbery on South Leopard Road in the Berwyn section of Easttown Township, officials said Tuesday.

During the early morning robbery, cash, jewelry and the victims' vehicle were taken, police said.

The suspects are believed to have traveled in the vicinity of Central and Lancaster avenues in Berwyn. No injuries were reported.

It appears to be an isolated incident and the police do not believe there is a threat to the general public.

Anyone that witnessed anything suspicious between the hours of 2.and 4:30 a.m. is asked to contact the Easttown detectives at 610-341-9780 or the Chester County detectives at 610-344-6886.
