July 4 Traffic Plan In Wilson Park, Tredffrin Township

Police implemented a parking plan to help alleviate heavy traffic during the annual fireworks display in Wilson Park, Chesterbrook.

TREDYFFRIN, PA —Tredyffrin Township police implemented a plan to help control heavy traffic before, during, and after the annual 4th of July celebration in Wilson Farm Park in Chesterbrook.

Thousands drive to Chesterbrook to watch a fireworks display from 7:15 to 9:15 p.m.

The park will be closed until 5 p.m. for the setup.

Attendees are asked to be patient due to the number of individuals who attend and the limited entrance/exit pathways.

“Our goal is for everyone to have a great time and to get home safely,” Lt. Tyler Moyer said.“Please pay attention to the temporary patterns as well as the officers directing traffic.”

Parking lots

  • Lee Road
  • Chesterbrook Blvd. and Lee Road
  • 965-945 Chesterbrook Blvd.
  • Wilson Farm Park (Handicapped only)

Exit Routes

  • Lee Road —The lots on the west side of Lee Road will turn left onto Chesterbrook Blvd. and continue straight to Route 202.
  • Lee Road — The lots on the east side of Lee Road will turn right and proceed on Chesterbrook Blvd. to Valley Forge Road.
  • Parking Lot at Chesterbrook Blvd. and Lee Road — This traffic will exit onto Chesterbrook Blvd. towards DuPortail Road and then turn onto DuPortail Road to Swedesford Road.
  • 965-945 Chesterbrook Blvd.—These lots will exit onto DuPortail Road heading to Swedesford Road or onto Chesterbrook Blvd. towards Route 202.
  • Wilson Farm Park (handicapped only) – Initially, this traffic will exit Lee Road from the park. If foot traffic subsides, traffic may divert to Anthony Wayne Drive.
