Lancaster Avenue Affected By Utility Work Through Late April

PECO Energy and Verizon will be performing utility construction on Lancaster Avenue in Tredyffrin Township through late April, PennDOT said.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Lancaster Avenue in Tredyffrin Township will have a weekday lane closure for about two months due to utility work, PennDOT said.

The work on Lancaster Avenue/U.S. 30 will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 21 and last through Friday, April 26.

Crews will be working weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The affected portion of work is between Darby Road and South Valley Road in Tredyffrin.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
