National Dog Show Charity Walk Set For Oct 13 In Wayne

Ahead of the National Dog Show, you can help support local animal groups by joining the Charity walk in Wilson Farm Park in Wayne.

WAYNE, PA — The Kennel Club of Philadelphia has set dates for the National Dog Show Month. And the National Dog Show Charity Walk is returning to Wayne for a good cause ahead of the National Dog Show in Oaks.

The walk will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Oct. 13 at Wilson Farm Park in Wayne.

It costs $15 per individual and $30 per family to participate in the walk. "Families" comprise immediate family including multiple children and multiple dogs.

Attendees will bring their dogs to the park for an easy one-mile trail walk.

There will be lots of treats and information for all dog lovers.

Registration and raffles benefit local nonprofits, including Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House, Canine Partners for Life, Morris Animal Refuge, Spring-Ford Music Association, Spring-Ford SNAP, National Dog Show Charities, Greater Philadelphia Search & Rescue, TEMPO, Renee’s Rescues, Lucky Dawg Animal Rescue, New Leash on Life-USA.

Wilson Farm Park is located at 500 Lee Road in Wayne.

The National Dog Show will be held Nov. 16 through Nov. 17, at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks, 100 Station Ave. in Oaks. See more information on the show here.
