Noted Main Line Chef Patrick Feury Dies At 57

Chef Patrick Feury of Berwyn's Nectar died after an accidental fall at his Main Line home, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

MAIN LINE, PA — The Main Line's high-end dining scene lost one of its key players recently, as Chef Patrick Feury of Berwyn's Nectar died over the weekend.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Feury's brother Terrence Feury told the outlet Patrick died after an accidental fall at his home in Paoli.

Feury was 57.

A Middletown, New Jersey native, Feury was the executive chef and partner at Nectar in Berwyn.

His career included time in kitchens in New York City, Atlantic City, and Paris after attending the Academy of Culinary Arts in Mays Landing, New Jersey.

He and Terrence, who is also a chef, competed against one another on national television.

The brothers "Bro-down Showdown" aired in January 2017 on the Food Network show "Beat Bobby Flay."

Nectar announced Feury's death on social media Monday.

"It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Chef Patrick Feury," a post on Instagram said. "The Nectar family will carry on his legacy under the leadership of Chef Partner Kenny Huang. Patrick and Kenny have worked side by side for the last eighteen years! We thank you all for your thoughts and prayers at this time."

Huang will take over in Feury's absence.
