Recycle Electronics In Wayne Next Month

You can recycle many electronics for free — some items have fees, however — at an upcoming electronic recycling event in Wayne on Sept. 14.

WAYNE, PA — A (mostly) free electronics recycling event is coming to Wayne next month and area residents can get rid of old, unused, and outdated electronics at the event.

Keller Williams Devon Wayne is teaming up with Always Be Recyclin' to host the recycling event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14 at Keller Williams Devon Wayne, 744 W. Lancaster Ave. in Wayne.

Most electronics can be recycled for free.

  • CRT Tube Televisions and Monitors
    • Under 22 inches — $30
    • 22 inches to 27 inches — $50
    • 27 inches to 32 inches — $100
  • Flat Screen LED/LCD TVs
    • 27 inches and over — $25
  • Plasma TVs
    • 52 inches or smaller — $50

Items not accepted:

  • CRT tube TVs over 32 inches
  • wooden cabinet (console) TVs
  • Plasma TVs over 52 inches
  • Projection, DLP, and floor model TVs
  • Large appliances (refrigerator, stoves, dishwashers, etc.)
  • Light bulbs
