Seniors Invited To Get Free SEPTA Fare Cards In Tredyffrin Wednesday

By using the cards, seniors can travel free on all SEPTA transit routes, including buses, trolleys, subways and Regional Rail lines.

STRAFFORD, PA — State Rep. Melissa Schusterman and State Sen. Carolyn Comitta are inviting local seniors to an event that will get them set up with a SEPTA Senior Fare Card.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Tredyffrin Public Library.

All residents 65 and older are invited to the event, which will help them get set up with a free SEPTA fare card.

By using the cards, seniors can travel free on all SEPTA transit routes (bus, trolley, trackless trolley, and Market-Frankford, Broad Street, and Norristown High Speed lines). They also ride for free on Regional Rail as long as their departure and arrival stations in Pennsylvania.

Those who attend should bring a valid photo ID with their current address.

Appointments are not necessary.

The library is located at 582 Upper Gulph Road in Strafford.
