“He grew up in our nursery; he learned the stories of God in our Sunday school,” the pastor wrote in a message to the congregation.

“So let us give thanks to God for the life of Griffin, for he lived. His life mattered,” the pastor wrote.

“He was beloved. And please join me in prayers unceasing for his parents, Donna and Joel, and his brother Brendan as they mourn.”

According to police:

  • Lang was driving on Contention Road, a two-lane, windy tree-lined, street, when his vehicle crashed into a tree.
  • A passenger sustained injuries and has since been released from Paoli Hospital.
