Sign Up For Tredyffrin Township's Winter Recreation Program Now

The Winter Rec program is nearly here and it's open to all area kids, not just Tredyffrin residents. Sign up now to get in on the fun.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – Last year, Tredyffrin Township nearly canceled its Winter Recreation program, but it was reinstated to the joy of area families. This year, the program has nothing to worry about as it is set to start Dec. 1 and you can sign your kids up now.

The program is held on the following 10 dates from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Valley Forge Elementary School:

  • Dec. 1
  • Dec. 8
  • Dec. 15
  • Jan. 5
  • Jan. 12
  • Jan. 19
  • Jan. 26
  • Feb. 2
  • Feb. 9
  • Feb. 16

Girls and boys in Kindergarten through sixth grade can participate in the rec program. Preschool children are not permitted to attend this program.

The program is open to the public, not just Tredyffrin Township residents, but non-residents pay a higher fee to participate. Resident registration costs $25 per child and non-resident registration costs $36. Registrations submitted after Nov. 30 have an $15 late fee added to the cost.

Fees will not be prorated for any registration submitted after the program start date of Dec. 1. Refunds will not be given for sessions not attended by child or canceled due to bad weather.

The registration fee is for all 10 sessions of the program.

Kids participating in the program can be dropped off anytime after 9 a.m. and can be picked any time prior to 1 p.m. A labeled snack is recommended if your child will be staying all morning.

Attendees can enjoy small group games such board games, puzzles, etc.; large group games such as dodge ball, bean bag tag, basketball, floor hockey, etc.; rock climbing; rope swing; scooter riding; and jump ropes.
