Tax Hike Approved In 2024-25 TESD Budget

The 2024-25 millage rate will be 28.3372 mills, up 1.5788​ mills from the 2023-24 rate, after the board adopting the budget Monday night.

TREDYFFRIN-EASTTOWN, PA — Property owners in Tredyffrin and Easttown townships will have higher tax bills, as the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District Board Monday approved the 2024-25 budget.

The board voted 8-1 to approve the budget, which features $181.11 million in revenues, $185.72 million in expenditures, and a $4.61 million fund balance allocation. Dr. Robert Singh was the sole vote against the budget.

To cover the deficit in the revenues and expenditures, the board approved a tax increase.
