There’s Still Time To Catch A Fall Festival In Tredyffin & Easttown

The Upper Main Line YMCA Is Hosting A Festival Saturday Oct. 22 and there are many other festivals nearby.

TREDYFRIN/EASTTOWN, PA — Fall is a great time to get outside in Pennsylvania and take in the rich offering of festivals.

The changing colors of autumn provide a scenic background for fall and harvest festivals, which have contests ranging from apple bobbing and pumpkin carving to lumberjack contests and Halloween parades.
Fall is also the season for corn mazes, pumpkin patches and apple orchard visits.

Here are a few festivals and events in and near Radnor to put on the calendar:

Upper Main Line YMCA Great Halloween Festival: The festival is from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 at the YMCA, 1416 Berwyn Paoli Road, Berwyn. Family fun activities will be provided and refreshments will be provided.

Fall Harvest in Radnor: The event from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct 23 at the Willows Park, 490 Darby Road, Villanova, includes pumpkin picking, tractor rides, balloon twisting, hay rides, an inflatable corn maze, and refreshments.There are special nature events available for preschoolers including displays of bugs, leaf and twig samples and crafts.

Phoenixville Fall Festival: The event is from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30 in Reeves Park. The festival features a Halloween costume stroll, trunk or treat, health fair, live music, facepainting and more.

Phoenixville Harvest Festival: The event is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 at the Phonixville Rec Center, 501 Franklin Avenue. Food, entertainment and vendors will be available.

West Chester Fall Festival: The festival is scheduled at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15 at Flourish Coworking Space, 121 West Chester Pike. Vendors, fall festivities, photo shop, roasting s'mores and more are available.

Malvern Monster Mash: Halloween celebration at 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30 at Burke Park in downtown Malvern. The event will feature pumpkin decorating, customes and prizes.

Chester County American Indian Cultural Festival: Experience an intertribal Powwow 10 a.m. to to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15. and Sunday, Oct. 16 at Romano 4-H Center, 1841 Horseshoe Pike, West Brandywine Township.
