Tredyffrin/Easttown Schools Cancel Harlem Wizards Game

Due to concerns over the coronavirus, the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District said it has canceled the FLITE fundraiser game.

BERWYN, PA — The Tredyffrin/Easttown School District said its fundraiser event featuring the Harlem Wizards basketball team has been canceled.

Officials said the game, slated to be held at 7 p.m. Friday, has been postponed.

The game will be held at a later date that has not been announced.

Tickets purchased ahead of the game will be honored at the rescheduled date.

The team will take on the Tredyffrin/Easttown Foundation for Learning in Tredyffrin/Easttown (FLITE) Crew, which is made up of teachers, administrators, and students in the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District.

All proceeds will go toward FLITE-funded programs in the district.

Proceeds from refreshments, game-style food, and souvenirs sold before and during the game will benefit FLITE, as well.

You can also help send Tredyffrin/Easttown students to the game who would otherwise not be able to attend by sponsoring ticket costs for those students.
