DuPortail, Anthony Wayne Roads Closed By Water Main Breaks

Water main breaks have closed both Anthony Wayne and DuPortail roads. Due to these incidents, the township building has closed for the day.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Water main breaks in Tredyffrin Township have closed two local roads, officials said Thursday morning closed Anthony Wayne Road, Tredyffrin Township officials said.

Officials at about 7:55 a.m. said Anthony Wayne Road is closed at Valley Forge Road due to a water main break.

Traffic entering Wilson Farm Park will need to use Lee Road until the repairs are completed.

Then, at about 10:22 a.m., officials said DuPortail Road closed due to a water main break.

DuPortail Road's closure is between Morris Road and Chesterbrook Boulevard.

Chesterbrook Boulevard is down to one lane in the area of the break, as well, officials said.

With the water main break and DuPortail Road closure, the Tredyffrin Township Building has closed for the day.

Officials did not give a timeline on when the breaks will be repaired or when the roads will reopen.

Drivers should use alternate routes and use caution in these areas.
