What if?

Anyone like these ideas?

So far, we have a plastic bag tax, a rain tax, a trash tax, and a tree tax.

What if Tredyffrin supervisors are at home dreaming up more taxes?

How about:

Needing a permit (tax) to use incandescent light bulbs? Or banning the use of them?

Needing a permit (tax) to make a vegetable garden? Or banning them?

Needing a permit (tax) to put up Christmas decorations? Or banning them?

I'm sure their creative little minds are hard at work on the next permit, I mean tax.

How about an an air conditioning tax?

Are they creating a crisis where none exists to levy a fire tax? How can there be "national standards" for fire companies? Fire fighting in Berwyn is very different from fire fighting in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and very different from fire fighting in New York, New York. Has anyone seen the "studies" to analyze them? Given the township's penchant for secrecy, I'm guessing that there is a hidden agenda here. What are the actual rates of fire insurance claims in Tredyffrin?

I suspect that we don't need a fire tax to keep us safe.
