The Conestoga Crew Club has a competitive rowing program that regularly awards his Freshmen, Novices, Junior Varsity and Varsity with numerous medals. It also routinely sends Girls and boys Junior Varsity and Varsity rowers to compete in US Rowing Youth Nationals in Florida, with their boats often finishing among the highest ranked public schools in the country.

Many of the 45 athletes at Conestoga Crew Club started rowing during the Learn To Row program.

Targeting TE students entering 8th to 11th grade, the program is a great opportunity to row along Philadelphia’s historic Boathouse Row and to learn the technique of rowing before the start of the season. No experience is needed, register for the opportunity to try a new sport, make new friends and have fun. The students who give it a try end up loving rowing and competing.

Gustavo Carvalhal confirms: "The Learn To Row program did a great job of teaching me the fundamentals of rowing. It's where I met most of my teammates that I row with today. It also gave me a good idea of what practices in the spring would be like." Hudson Miller seconds that idea: “Rowing at Conestoga gave me the opportunity to push myself in an awesome sport and connect with great people.”
