More Washington Road Work Occurring This Weekend

UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA - Traffic restrictions will be in place on Washington Road again this weekend, from 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday as crews conduct concrete shoulder repair and concrete patching.

There will be a single lane restriction on the road in the following locations:

  • Southbound – From McMurray Road to Old Washington Road.
  • Northbound – From Washington County to Boyce Road.

The work is part of the $5.5 million project to improve 2.5 miles of Route 19. Other work on the project includes concrete patching, shoulder repairs, base repairs, drainage and guide rail upgrades, ADA curb ramp improvements, signal updates, and sign and pavement
marking installation.
