BETHEL PARK, PA - You can't buy a dress or a pair of pants at the latest addition to South Hills Village. But you will be able to use high-tech tools such as 3-D printers, laser cutters and design software, as well as take classes such as 3-D Design Basics and Advanced Part Modeling.

Creation Labs is located on the upper level near Macy's. The grand opening is Aug. 31.

Creation Labs sells everything needed to set up a makerspace at home, but also will sell memberships allowing users to access all of the equipment available on-site.

“Once you see what these machines can do and learn how to use them, your opportunities are unlimited,” Creation Labs Founder Aaron Hartman said. “I started seeing things around the house that I could fix with a 3-D printed part. My wife lost a climate control knob on her 2003 Jeep, so I

measured one of the remaining knobs and printed a new one.

"For customers, I’ve made custom cookie molds, hanging light brackets, items for model train layouts, tools for small manufacturers and toys of all sorts.”
