South Hills Village Rated Among PA's Top Malls

BETHEL PARK, PA - When it comes to shopping experiences in Pennsylvania, it's hard to top South Hills Village. That's according to Pennlive, which unscientifcally ranked the state's top malls and placed South Hills Village sixth.

In making that determination, Pennlive considered a mall's number of stores, retail variety, overall atmosphere and the the quality and variety of food.

"South Hills Village has the Pittsburgh Popcorn Co. They also have Chocolate Moonshine Co., a
store offering homemade fudge made with Pennsylvania ingredients," Pennlive noted. "Besides the extensive food options, this is another mall focused on community. The mall hosted a performance earlier this year by American Idol contestant Gabby Barrett, a Pittsburgh-area native."

The top mall in Pennsylvania? The gargantuan King of Prussia Mall near Philadelphia.
